Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Drop of Rain offers you beautiful jewellery at affordable prices. Only genuine freshwater cultured pearls are used. Designs are created in a variety of hues and shapes to create interesting and classic pieces. The natural colours of freshwater cultured pearls are shades of white, purple, and pink. All other colours have been dyed or treated after they are harvested on the pearl farm. Blister pearls which are formed on the inside of the mollusk shell, keshi pearls which are small pearls spontaneously formed in the tissue of the mollusk, coin, baroque shaped, branch biwa or stick shaped pearls provide the design foundation. Additions such as crystals and gemstones are used to enhance the design. Pieces are hand-knotted on silk with silver findings.
